My counseling approach involves the skillful integration of several disciplines including mindfulness based cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion focused therapy, trauma focused work, solution focused,  and insight oriented processes. The reason for this is that often there are multiple ways of arriving at a desired destination or outcome. Not everyone changes in the same way. Through the use of collaboration, conversation, and dialogue I can assist you in  changing the way you currently relate to a certain problem or challenge by exploring habitual belief patterns that lead to depression, anxiety, anger, and other unpleasant thoughts and emotions. By unpacking and exploring  certain core beliefs, you will be able to not only increase your awareness of how these beliefs no longer serve you, but will also  improve the way in which you relate to and engage with everyday stressors, emotional challenges, and interpersonal relationships.
